Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing Occupational Therapy Services in accordance with federal, state, and local standards. This role requires a strong commitment to delivering high-quality resident care and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular screenings to determine the best intervention or treatment for each resident
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, following established goals and methods
  • Communicate evaluation findings, treatment plans, and recommendations to residents, families, and team members
  • Establish individual resident therapy schedules in cooperation with the team
  • Ensure proper documentation and billing of occupational therapy services
  • Perform other duties as assigned to effectively treat patients
Requirements:
  • Associates Degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Active OTA licensure in the state(s) of practice
  • Ongoing continuing education and professional development to maintain current licensure and certification
