Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Personal Banker to join our team at Armed Forces Bank. As a Personal Banker, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional client experiences, promoting bank products and services, and working with a team to achieve individual and group goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales and Service: Achieve specific sales goals by identifying and engaging prospects, recommending products based on needs, and ensuring superior product delivery for consumer and small business banking products and services.
  • Client Service: Provide fast, easy, and personal service consistent with Company standards, including resolving problems, building relationships, and handling special requests.
  • Digital Expertise: Actively demonstrate digital expertise by using our digital platforms and educating clients about our digital products, including online banking, bill pay, mobile banking app, ATM/ITM's, and online chat features.
  • Operational Tasks: Conduct operational tasks for servicing clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance to company policies, bank regulations, and department procedures.
  • Confidentiality: Protect all client and bank information confidentially and follow all company policies.
  • Training and Development: Complete monthly training in a timely manner to ensure knowledge of bank regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures.
Compensation and Benefits

Full-time associates are eligible for our benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, company-paid life insurance, short and long-term disability insurance, and company-paid vacation, paid leave, and holidays.

Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of work experience required, with a minimum of 6 months sales and customer service experience.
  • Skills: Ability and desire to engage with people in a sales environment, strong attention to detail, ability to organize work, strong written and verbal communication skills, basic math skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products.
