Aquatics Technician Job Description

Job Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and repair waterpark equipment, including pools, pumps, motors, and slides, to ensure optimal functionality and guest safety.
  • Conduct daily inspections of mechanical systems and attractions, performing general maintenance and repairs as needed.
  • Document maintenance actions, including system or equipment irregularities that require monitoring.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and safe operation of the Waterpark area, including vacuuming pools and power-washing floors as needed.
  • Perform daily water testing and adjust chemical treatments accordingly.
  • Work collaboratively with park management, lifeguards, and guests to provide exceptional service.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in general maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or aquatics maintenance.
  • Knowledge of water chemistry, water testing, filtration, and waterpark mechanical operations.
  • Certified Pool Operator (CPO) or Aquatic Facility Operator (AFO) license preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs., bend, stretch, and twist, sit or stand for long periods, and climb multiple flights of stairs on a daily basis.
