Join Inova Health System as a Registered Nurse in our Interventional Cardiovascular (Pre-Op) Admission & Recovery (ICAR) unit. We are seeking a full-time nurse with experience in a cardiac unit or with cardiac patients. The ideal candidate will have experience in ICU, ED, IMCU, or PACU and be proficient in English with strong verbal and written communication skills.

**About the Role:**

As a Registered Nurse in our ICAR unit, you will provide pre-procedure and post-procedure care for outpatient and inpatient populations. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

**Responsibilities:**

* Provide pre-procedure and post-procedure care for patients undergoing electrophysiology procedures, cardiac catheterization procedures, and interventional radiology procedures
* Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
* Monitor patients' conditions and respond to changes in their status
* Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
* Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes

**Requirements:**

* Minimum of 1 year experience in an acute care setting
* BSN from an accredited school of nursing
* RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a RN
* Proficient in English, strong verbal and written communication skills
* Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to display a caring demeanor towards others
* Proficient computer skills required
