About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist 2 to join our team at Inova Health System.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide safe and therapeutic care to patients in a holistic and caring manner.
  • Perform psychosocial and physiologic assessments to integrate changing data and document in procedure notes.
  • Tailor and prioritize caring practices to individual patient needs, including cultural, ethical, and spiritual needs.
  • Participate in the planning of routine transitional healthcare needs, such as treatment options.
  • Ensure efficiency in the delivery of care by determining immediate priorities and offering solutions for problems.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, and Registered in one of the following: RCIS, RTR VI, RTR CV, RTR CI, or equivalent.
  • Licensure: Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
  • Experience: One year of experience in interventional Cardiac Cath Lab, Electrophysiology Lab, or equivalent experience as a nurse in a critical care hospital unit.
  • Education: Associate Degree in Nursing or equivalent education and experience.
