About the Role:

Responsibilities:
  • Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate each patient's care.
  • Respect and prioritize the individual needs and rights of each patient.
  • Maintain a safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
  • Demonstrate leadership through clinical practice, supervision, and education.
  • Apply proficient clinical skills and sound decision-making abilities.
  • Provide specialized care for oncology and orthopedic patients as required.

Qualifications:

Education:
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Experience:
  • Minimum of two years' clinical experience as a med surg RN.
  • Completion of Nursing Department orientation; oncology experience preferred.
License:
  • Current North Carolina RN license.
  • BLS certification required.
