Join Our Team as a Smart Building Specialist Intern

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Smart Building Specialist Intern at Siemens Industry, Inc. This 10-week internship program will provide you with hands-on experience in the field of smart buildings and sustainable infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the diagnosis and repair of HVAC, building automation, fire/life safety, and integrated security electronic control systems
  • Work alongside current specialists and operations supervisors to complete service work documentation and provide training to customers
  • Interface with internal engineering and management teams to resolve discrepancies and recommend system enhancements

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in a 2-year technical college or school pursuing a certificate in HVAC/R, building automation, construction management, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, energy/sustainability, or computer science
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week for 10 weeks (May-July or June-August)
  • Willingness to relocate to the Seattle area branch located in Waco, TX
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company or school sponsorship
