Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily mopping of kitchen floors in compliance with sanitary regulations set by the Department of Public Health.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen workspaces and equipment, ensuring cookware is cleaned nightly.
- Regularly perform deep-cleaning tasks in all kitchen areas, including dining rooms, adhering to guidelines established by the Food Service Director.
- Ensure the dishwasher is clean and operational at all times.
- Adhere to OSHA regulations and safety protocols while using equipment, including proper lifting and bending techniques, and report any personal accidents or work-related injuries immediately in accordance with established procedures.
Qualifications:
- Applicants must be at least 16 years of age.
- Previous experience in dietary services is required.
- Must demonstrate sensitivity to the needs of elderly and disabled individuals.
