Job Overview:

Guidehouse is seeking a skilled UI/UX Designer to join our team. As a UI/UX Designer, you will play a critical role in shaping the user experience of our digital products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement user-centered solutions that meet business objectives.
  • Conduct user research and analysis to inform design decisions.
  • Develop and maintain design systems, guidelines, and standards.
  • Work with developers to ensure design solutions are feasible and meet technical requirements.
  • Participate in product decisions from definition to release.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in UI/UX design.

Requirements:

  • Active and maintained Secret Federal or DoD security clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Four years of experience in IT as a UI/UX designer.
  • Good knowledge of design concepts, including interface design, prototyping, and design systems development.
  • Proficient with design tools like Sketch or Adobe XD.
  • Ability to articulate design requirements to development teams.
  • General understanding of Web Development best practices (HTML5, CSS3).
  • Ability to maintain a big-picture vision while defining detailed requirements.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience building single-page applications consuming REST API.
  • Human-Centered Design (HCD) experience.
  • Experience participating in product decisions from definition to release.
  • Experience with federal government systems and supporting federal projects.
  • Experience implementing 508 Compliance.
