Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the financial operations of the Facilities Division
  • Assess and identify departmental financial needs proactively
  • Conduct thorough budget evaluations and offer strategic recommendations
  • Supervise central business office operations
  • Manage timekeeping systems and financial software interfaces
  • Lead and mentor assigned staff members
  • Direct the Facilities Operations Customer Service Center
  • Supervise the University Capital Improvement Administrator
  • Advise on enhancements for the department's technological infrastructure
  • Identify training requirements for division personnel
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field
  • At least three years of experience in administrative or business management roles
  • Comprehensive understanding of financial management systems and university accounting practices
  • Proven experience in budget management and financial oversight
  • Experience in supervising full-time staff
  • Ability to define and streamline business processes
  • Proficiency in financial management and accounting software
  • Experience with payroll and timekeeping systems
  • Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems
  • Possession of a valid driver's license
