Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Liver Care Specialist to join our team of professionals in the field of hepatology. Located just north of Boston, MA, this opportunity offers a unique blend of suburban living and commercial development.

Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000 - $160,000 depending on experience. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement planning, and paid time off.

Job Responsibilities

  • To provide multidisciplinary care for patients with liver disease, including co-management of hepatology, liver transplant, and live donor liver patients.
  • To work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals, including attending physicians, advanced practitioners, and house staff.
  • To develop and implement diagnosis and treatment plans, order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging studies, and consults as needed.
  • To prescribe and dispense medications, provide educational counseling for patients and families, and ensure high-quality patient care.

Requirements

  • A minimum of one year of experience as an Advanced Practice provider, preferably three years or more.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact positively with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team.
