Job Title: Counselor Aide

Job Summary:

Helio Health is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Counselor Aide to join our team. As a Counselor Aide, you will play a vital role in supporting our patients' success in their treatment and providing exceptional care.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with counseling responsibilities, including screening, intake, orientation, referral, counseling, crisis response, patient education, case management, reporting, and record keeping.
  • Participate in program administrative and clinical committees as assigned.
  • Represent the agency to the community.
  • Perform quality assurance activities.
  • Display knowledge of addiction/recovery and/or behavioral health self-help group processes and principles of counseling.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • Customer service and/or human services experience preferred.
  • Valid NYS Drivers License, based on service settings.
