We are seeking a skilled Rehabilitation Counselor 2 to provide rehabilitative services to individuals with mental illness at the Greater Binghamton Health Center.
Key Responsibilities- Assess individuals' rehabilitative needs and coordinate necessary psychosocial, educational, and/or vocational services.
- Monitor and document progress toward established goals and objectives.
- Determine what changes have occurred as a result of treatment plans.
- Ensure compliance with recordkeeping requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in a human service field.
- Three years of professional experience providing vocational, psychosocial, or rehabilitative/habilitative services in an agency primarily serving individuals diagnosed with developmental disabilities, mental illness, or addictions.
- Substitution: Master's degree in a related field can substitute for one year of specialized experience.
- NYS medical, dental, and vision insurance.
