About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team at the Paiute Indian Tribe of Utah. As a key member of our dental care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting the delivery of high-quality dental services.

Responsibilities
  • Welcome patients to the dental office and ensure their comfort and well-being.
  • Prepare patients for treatments or check-ups, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Select and set up instruments, equipment, and materials needed for procedures.
  • Sterilize instruments according to regulations and maintain a clean and well-stocked dental room.
  • Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry and undertake lab tasks as instructed.
  • Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions to patients.
  • Schedule appointments and maintain accurate patient records.
  • Support the efficient operations of the dental clinic and assist with payment procedures.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • One year of experience in a dental clinic setting required.
  • Must possess a valid Driver's License and obtain First Aid and CPR certification within three months of start date.
  • Skilled in Excel, Word, and other Microsoft Office applications.
