As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and efficient packaging of cannabis-infused food products. This role requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with the production team to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Key Responsibilities- Package cannabis-infused food products in compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
- Ensure accurate labeling of all products, including dosage information, ingredients, and warning labels as required by regulations.
- Conduct quality checks on packaged products to ensure they meet company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in managing inventory levels of packaging materials and finished products.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding cannabis packaging and labeling.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all safety protocols and guidelines.
- Keep detailed records of packaging activities, including batch numbers, quantities packaged, and any deviations from standard procedures.
- Collaborate with production team members to optimize packaging processes and workflow efficiency.
- Participate in training sessions related to packaging procedures, safety protocols, and compliance requirements.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Applicants should possess the ability to acquire and uphold state-mandated badging prerequisites.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in packaging or manufacturing preferred.
- Knowledge of cannabis regulations and compliance is a plus.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in packaging and labeling.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts as required.
