Customer Support Professional

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Support Professional to join our team at HNL Lab Medicine. This role is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our valued clients, ensuring a seamless and personalized experience.
Responsibilities:
- Provide clear, friendly, and professional communication with clients via phone, email, and other electronic platforms.
- Multitask in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple desktops and inquiries simultaneously.
- Notify clients of STAT, critical, and/or client-requested results within expected turnaround times.
- Respond to incoming calls and inquiries regarding specimen requirements, test results, patient billing, and statement requests.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of department Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and adhere to patient confidentiality regulations.
- Perform data processing, sort/distribute mail, print reports, handle requisitions, and file data.
- Document all communication accurately within designated platforms.
Requirements:
- A high school diploma or GED is required; call center and/or clinical experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology/human anatomy is desired; willingness to complete medical terminology courses is a plus.
- Excellent communication, organization, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills are essential.
- Ability to work under stress and maintain discretion and confidentiality with patient data.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office products, processing, spreadsheets, email, and designated laboratory and customer service software is necessary.
Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
