We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our Radiology Department at Methodist Hospital Stone Oak. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic procedures using computerized tomography (CT) scanners and imaging equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic procedures, including 3-D acquisitions, reconstructions, biopsies, and drainage exams, utilizing CT scanners and imaging equipment.
- Enter exam data into the Radiology Information System and maintain accurate records.
- Conduct quality control of assigned individual scans and assist in training new technologists and students.
- Charge and order supplies for quality control in the CT area.
- Demonstrate knowledge and skill in providing care to patients of all ages, from neonates to geriatrics.
- Follow safety policies and procedures, recognizing impending crisis situations and taking measures to prevent further complications.
- Maintain cleanliness and inventory of the CT rooms, including equipment and facilities.
- Associate's degree or higher in Radiologic Technology or completion of an approved program in Radiologic Technology.
- Medical Radiologic Technologist Certification from the Texas Medical Board.
- ARRT (R) certification at time of hire.
- Eligibility to test and obtain ARRT (CT) certification within 6 months of hire.
