About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at South Texas Radiology Imaging Centers. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for performing radiography procedures and evaluating radiographs for technical quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic procedures as required, achieving a high level of film quality.
  • Observe for film artifacts and minimize them, cleaning cassettes as necessary.
  • Document procedures upon completion, including stat reads according to departmental policies.
  • Obtain patient history as needed and assist radiologists during procedures to ensure patient comfort.
  • Advise supervisors of needed items from the storeroom or vendors.
  • Demonstrate ability to shut down radiologic equipment and/or reboot computers.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • High School Graduate (or GED) Required. Graduate from an AMA-approved radiologic technology program.
  • Minimum License, Certificates, or Registrations Required:
    • ARRT (R) or registry eligible
    • Certified by the Texas Department of State Health Services MRT program
    • Current BLS certification
