Job Summary: We seek a skilled Respiratory Care Practitioner to administer diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, assisting in the treatment and diagnosis of adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients with cardiopulmonary dysfunction. The ideal candidate will possess advanced skills in assessment and application of respiratory care services in one age group and intermediate skills in others.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer simple and complex diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
  • Provide care in general and critical care areas
  • Record treatment information in medical records

Requirements:

  • Associate's Degree from an accredited respiratory therapy program
  • Minimum one year of clinical experience

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Able to assemble and troubleshoot patient/machine equipment
  • Drawing blood and assessing patients
  • Performing preventative maintenance and calibrating equipment
  • Effective communication and teamwork
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving

Licensures and Certifications:

  • Respiratory Care Practitioner License from the State of California
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification
  • Basic Life Support Provider (BLS) certification
  • Age-specific Advanced Life Support Provider certification
