Key Responsibilities:

Financial Oversight:
- Manage all facets of accounting, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
- Ensure precise and timely financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.
- Formulate and enforce financial policies and procedures to optimize operational efficiency.

Budgeting and Financial Planning:
- Collaborate with department heads to prepare annual budgets and forecasts.
- Monitor financial performance against budget and provide variance analysis to senior leadership.
- Identify avenues for cost savings and revenue growth.

Regulatory Compliance and Internal Controls:
- Guarantee adherence to all applicable regulations, including gaming and tax compliance.
- Establish and uphold robust internal controls to protect assets and ensure financial data integrity.
- Coordinate external audits and address audit findings promptly.

Leadership and Team Development:
- Lead and mentor the accounting team to foster a high-performance culture.
- Promote a collaborative environment that encourages professional development and continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.

Financial Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyze financial data to uncover trends, variances, and areas for enhancement.
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and the Board.
- Offer strategic insights to inform business decisions and long-term planning.

Collaboration with Operational Teams:
- Partner with operational departments to assess business performance and provide financial insights.
- Support decision-making regarding capital investments, pricing strategies, and operational efficiencies.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; CPA or CMA preferred.
- At least 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
- Experience in the gaming and hospitality sectors is highly advantageous.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with effective communication across all management levels.
