About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Radiology Technologist to join our team at University Center Imaging. As a leading provider of outpatient radiology/imaging services in Brevard County, we are committed to delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging care and services to patients, physicians, and medical groups in the local market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform fluoroscopic, special, and other standard radiographic procedures as required.
  • Provide radiation safety protection to patients in accordance with prescribed HRS safety standards.
  • Greet and escort patients to the imaging room.
  • Collect and record patient data.
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures.
  • Explain procedures to patients in detail, including receiving injections or IVs.
  • Answer patient questions prior to and after procedures.
  • Interpret clinical data on requisitions and adjust technical factors to produce optimal images.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of supplies used and report stock levels to administrators.
  • Keep work and patient care areas clean and organized to maintain aseptic conditions.
  • Assist in other areas as needed.
  • Practice sterile techniques to prevent cross-contamination.
  • Schedule patients for procedures.
  • Knowledge of Intelerad RIS software and ability to call for support when needed.
  • Knowledge of PACS workstations and laser printers.
Requirements
  • AS degree.
  • Current licensure by the State of Florida.
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.
  • Maintain licensure and registry through continuing education.
