Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Holmes Regional Medical Center. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Prepare patients for MRI procedures, including explaining the procedure and positioning them correctly.
  • Monitor patients during MRI procedures to ensure their safety and comfort.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient procedures and images.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest MRI technology and techniques to ensure optimal image quality and patient care.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a Joint Review Committee-approved Radiologic Technology program or equivalent.
  • Licensed as a General Radiographer in the state of Florida, if applicable.
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (A.R.R.T.) or equivalent.
  • Current AHA BLS Healthcare Provider certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior MRI experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office - Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Physical Requirements
  • Physically agile; requires walking, standing, running, bending, stooping, kneeling, climbing, or crouching majority of the shift.
  • Heavy work that frequently includes lifting or moving objects up to 100 pounds or more with or without assistance.
