As a member of the OptumCare network, Riverside Medical Group is in search of a Certified Medical Assistant to enhance our expanding team.

Schedule: 8:45 am to 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday

Brick office on Saturdays from 9 am to 1 pm, 1 to 2 Saturdays a month

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare examination rooms and sanitize medical instrumentsAssist patients, gather health history, monitor vital signs, and conduct EKGsAdminister injections and collect samplesRecord patient care using electronic medical record systemsCoordinate appointments, manage prior authorizations, process medication refills, handle referrals, answer calls, and complete necessary paperworkSupport physicians, nurse practitioners, or physician assistants with minor in-office procedures

Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or GEDCertification as a Medical AssistantMinimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical AssistantProficiency in computer skillsFlexible schedule; availability for 2 Saturdays per month and willingness to assist at nearby practices

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience as a Medical Assistant performing clinical back-office tasks, including phlebotomy, injections, obtaining vital signs, and documenting medical historyFamiliarity with Epic EMRPediatric experience

New Jersey Residents Only: The hourly range for this position is $16.00 to $28.27 per hour. Compensation is determined by various factors, including local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group adheres to all applicable minimum wage laws.
