At Alight, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Tax Filing Leader to oversee and manage the client delivery of tax filing services. This critical role involves ensuring excellence in delivery for the entire Tax Filing organization, managing client satisfaction, and leading process enhancement efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee client delivery and satisfaction, resolve escalations, and represent Tax Filing effectively in client meetings.
  • Monitor and audit tasks, lead process enhancement efforts, and develop Root Cause Analysis.
  • Engage with clients and internal departments to ensure successful client delivery and communicate complex issues.
  • Provide research on compliance and regulatory issues, facilitate escalations, and analyze metrics for process improvements.
  • Resolve open items, educate clients on payroll tax filing, and mentor managers and colleagues.
  • Manage Tax Filing suppliers, provide training, and support SOP development.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in payroll tax filing or a related field.
  • Advanced understanding of payroll tax filing, regulations, and legislative requirements.
  • Exceptional communication skills and client management experience.
  • People management experience and technical proficiency.
  • Experience with Payroll tax software.
