This position is categorized as hybrid, requiring a blend of approximately 90% remote work and 10% on-site presence at distribution center offices located in the Southeast Region of the United States.

The Sales Support Specialist will be instrumental in driving outcomes as the primary contact for designated Territory Managers and Customers. This role involves collaborative selling, providing administrative assistance, and addressing inquiries and concerns promptly by leveraging in-depth knowledge of US Foods products, systems, and tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the main liaison between Customers, Territory Managers, District Sales Managers, and Product Sales Support Administrators.
  • Engage in regular communication with customers, which includes taking orders, resolving issues, and identifying sales opportunities.
  • Review orders submitted through US Foods Online to ensure accuracy and completeness, and communicate with customers regarding suitable substitutes when necessary.
  • Provide administrative support to Territory Managers and District Sales Managers as required.
  • Escalate issues to the appropriate parties to ensure timely and effective resolutions.

What We Offer:

Our Sales Support Specialists can expect to start with a competitive hourly wage based on experience and geographical location within the Southeast region.

Schedule:
Sunday - Thursday, 8 am - 5 pm

Essential Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.

  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills, along with effective problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple issues simultaneously and drive them to resolution.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is required.
