Our team of attorneys has decades of experience effectively and efficiently representing clients in a wide variety of matters. We are proud of our winning track record in such diverse domains as aviation and aerospace, construction defect, insurance/reinsurance, product liability, intellectual property, and commercial disputes, to name just a few. We work proactively in partnership with our clients to create and implement loss prevention programs. When the worst happens, we counsel clients based on years of experience in crisis management. We serve as trusted advisors to worldwide insurance markets, product manufacturers, and service providers from our offices in New York City, Los Angeles, Stamford, Connecticut, Chicago, Illinois, and Princeton, New Jersey.
We represent our clients nationwide as lead counsel in litigation in both state and federal courts, as well as in arbitrations and mediations. We handle appeals at every level. We are entrusted by multi-national conglomerates to serve as National Coordinating Counsel in the defense of their claims and litigation both in the United States and abroad. Our clients have been involved in a broad range of disputes, including major product liability litigation, commercial issues including contractual disputes, real estate disputes, class action litigation, recovery of business losses, and business torts, among others. We aggressively defend clients in all manner of civil litigation, including commercial litigation, wrongful death and serious personal injury cases.
Our attorneys also represent municipalities in matters of personal injury, environmental claims, construction claims, zoning, and land use. In the area of premises liability, we defend property owners ranging from individuals to large commercial entities.
We are active participants in and sponsors of major professional conferences. Members of our firm serve in leadership positions with the Aircraft Builders Council, American Bar Association, Defense Research Institute, and the International Association of Defense Counsel. Our attorneys are recognized as leaders in their field by nationally recognized ratings organizations, such as Martindale-Hubble, Bests, The International Bar Association, New York Magazine Leaders in the Law, and Super Lawyers.
We work in close partnership with our clients (most of whom are Fortune 500 companies) to ensure expectations are met and to avoid surprises and utilize state-of-the-art technology to protect client information and enable the most effective and efficient representation available.
Position
Fitzpatrick, Hunt & Pagano, LLP is a premier AV rated civil litigation firm that has an opening in the New York office for an exceptional attorney with 3+ years of experience. The successful candidate will have experience in Federal and State Courts located in New York, with significant general liability, trial, and complex legal research involvement. We are seeking a motivated self-starter, who will make a positive contribution to the team chemistry. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, along with an ability to conduct insightful research and a flare for persuasive writing is required. In addition, we are seeking an associate who has the ability and desire to critically analyze complex issues and produce an excellent work product. The ideal candidate will be comfortable assuming immediate responsibility for a significant caseload, and will be content working as an integral part of a collaborative team. We are currently in the New York office three days per week on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
