Leadership Opportunity in Ambulatory Behavioral Health Services
Tal Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled Psychiatrist to serve as the Director of Ambulatory Behavioral Health Services. As a key member of our multidisciplinary leadership team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our Behavioral Health Services department.
Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic direction and leadership to the Integrated Outpatient Adult Services and general outpatient psychiatric services.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of a large multi-disciplinary service, ensuring exceptional patient care and outcomes.
- Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate staff within the Behavioral Health Services department.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to enhance service integration and effectiveness.
- Demonstrate a strong academic interest in teaching and supervising psychiatric residents.
Qualifications:
- MD degree and board certification in Psychiatry.
- 3-5 years of experience in a leadership role.
- Current New York State Medical License, Medicaid number, and DEA number.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
