Position Overview:
Starting wage is $14.50 per hour.

The Cleaning Specialist is tasked with upholding the cleanliness of the Motel in accordance with Bosselman standards.

Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain a clean, professional appearance that aligns with brand standards and the Bosselman handbook.

• Ensure the cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation of the Motel meets company and franchise expectations.

• Execute daily cleaning tasks as outlined in brand training.

• Conduct detailed cleaning tasks, including carpet shampooing, floor steaming, flipping mattresses, HVAC vent detailing, cleaning light fixtures, scrubbing walls and baseboards, repairing drywall, and changing batteries in fire alarms and carbon monoxide detectors, along with any additional duties assigned by the Head Housekeeper/AGM/GM.

• Deliver laundry to the front desk for processing.

• Perform light maintenance tasks or provide detailed notes for maintenance personnel. (e.g., changing light bulbs).

• Report any damages in guest rooms or on the property to your Supervisor or Manager promptly (e.g., damaged linens, signs of smoking or drug use, wall damage, missing items).

• Adhere to all company safety protocols to ensure a secure environment for both employees and guests.

• Keep all cleaning supplies well-stocked, labeled, and properly stored.

• Complete any additional tasks assigned by the manager in a timely manner.

• Finish all brand standard training and Bosselman LMS training.

• Provide friendly and competent customer service with a positive attitude.

• Arrive for work punctually as scheduled, maintaining regular and consistent attendance.

Additional Duties:
• Assist with other responsibilities as assigned in a timely manner.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
Experience in motel/hotel, retail, custodial, or guest service roles is preferred.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

• Basic knowledge of cleaning practices and understanding of bacterial and viral transmission.

• Reliable transportation and a means of communication.

• Availability to work during holidays, weekends, or as needed.

• Proficiency in English communication, if applicable.

• Willingness to deliver friendly, courteous, and prompt customer service.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with team members.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
