We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager, Automation Engineering to lead the engineering design for an automated facility. As a key member of the Fulfillment Engineering team, you will be responsible for cross-functional collaboration, capacity modeling, layout and process flow development, and business case modeling.
Key Responsibilities- Leverage data analysis tools to explore complex data, develop and test hypotheses, and build insights to inform strategic decisions.
- Design and implement process flows to optimize supply chain operations, including interpreting information to quantify the anticipated outcome of supply chain decisions.
- Integrate automation systems, identifying common issues and considerations for bringing new automation designs to a facility, and working with teams to measure and manage project performance.
- Develop and promote the usage of automation machineries, participating in implementation and training, and conducting cost-benefit analysis of machineries.
- Create views of objects in 2 and 3 dimensions, perspective drawings and orthogonal views, and use design and visualization to perform basic drafting.
- Take responsibility for project management tasks, including identifying project risks and vulnerabilities, setting up communication and contingency plans, and conducting project reviews.
- Streamline critical workflows for executing key processes and develop methods for improving and establishing controls for critical processes.
- Advise on financial tools, techniques, and approaches, and assist with building business cases.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, or 6 years of experience in Engineering, supply chain, or a related area, with 2 years of supervisory experience.
- Master's degree in Computer Engineering is preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in Engineering, supply chain, or a related area, with experience in Navisworks and/or AutoCAD.
We offer a competitive salary range of $110,000.00-$220,000.00, annual or quarterly performance bonuses, and additional compensation for certain positions, including stock. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, vision, and dental coverage, 401(k), stock purchase, and company-paid life insurance, paid time off, parental leave, family care leave, bereavement, jury duty, and voting leave, and more.
