About the Role

This is a senior-level position that requires a strong background in software engineering, cloud computing, and DevOps. You will be responsible for leading the development of complex software systems, collaborating with other teams to ensure seamless integration, and driving innovation through the use of new technologies and techniques. You will also be responsible for mentoring and leading junior engineers to help them grow and develop in their careers.

Key Responsibilities

* Design and develop scalable, cloud-based solutions to meet the needs of our members
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop technical solutions
* Lead the development of complex software systems and ensure seamless integration with other teams
* Drive innovation through the use of new technologies and techniques
* Mentor and lead junior engineers to help them grow and develop in their careers

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
* 5+ years of experience in software engineering, cloud computing, and DevOps
* Strong background in Java, Spring Boot, Azure Cosmos DB, Python, and Spark
* Experience with cloud application development, including scalable, data-driven, and message-oriented architecture
* Experience designing scalable microservices and working on cloud-scale massive relational and No-SQL databases
* Experience with code repositories and version control practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment
* Experience with software quality and operational excellence practices, including agile development methodology and containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes
