Senior Manager, Automation Engineering

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager, Automation Engineering to join our team. As a key member of our Store Automation team, you will be responsible for leading the development of innovative automation solutions that transform the customer shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategic plans to leverage technologies such as image-based modeling, AI, and machine learning to optimize the customer experience and value.
- Identify, scope, and develop plans for new capabilities to use across the network, and develop and integrate network-wide technology building blocks for projects.
- Design and integrate new store hardware systems, and lead the stage-gate process for key development projects, including project management tasks and risk identification.
- Develop methods for system improvements, establish process controls, and lead change management for hardware design.
- Advise on financial tools, techniques, and approaches, and help build business cases.
- Benchmark industry best practices and drive continuous improvement, and establish and maintain system development standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, and 4 years' experience in Engineering, supply chain, or a related area, or 6 years' experience in Engineering, supply chain, or a related area with 2 years' supervisory experience.
- Experience working in an interdivisional/interdepartmental setup, and ability to develop proposed business cases for projects.
- Ability to evaluate relevant industry practices from an operations perspective, and work to resolve obstacles to goals of several departments, and advise others to manage responsibilities.
- Ability to build internal and external partnerships, and communicate shared goals and identify and address additional needs for the team.
- Masters in Computer Engineering.
