Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technician to join our team at Guthrie Clinic. As a Surgical Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures, working closely with our surgical team to provide exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist surgeons and other medical staff during surgical procedures, maintaining a sterile environment and handling instruments and equipment with precision.
  • Prepare and maintain surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies, adhering to strict infection control protocols.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless communication and coordination during procedures.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest surgical techniques and technologies.
  • Contribute to a positive and respectful work environment, promoting teamwork and open communication among colleagues.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technician program or equivalent experience.
  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
