Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Dell Children's Medical Center. As a NICU RN, you will provide direct nursing care to critically ill newborns and their families, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest level of patient care.
Responsibilities- Implement and monitor patient care plans, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Provide education and support to patients and families, promoting health literacy and empowerment.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Texas.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, obtained within 1 month of hire date.
- Experience working in a Level III or IV NICU, with a strong understanding of neonatal resuscitation and stabilization techniques.
