Detailer Position Description

The Automotive Detailer is responsible for cleaning and refurbishing vehicles to meet dealership and manufacturer standards. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently to meet time allowances.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cleans and refinishes vehicle exteriors, including applying wax and buffing surfaces
  • Vacuums interior spaces, removing loose dirt and debris
  • Cleans upholstery, rugs, and other surfaces using specialized cleaning agents
  • Inspects vehicles for defects, such as dents, scratches, torn upholstery, and poor mechanical operation
  • Restores appearance of engine areas, rugs, and upholstery, using touch-up paint and other materials

Requirements:

  • Valid Driver's License with less than 2 moving violations
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Estimated Salary: $18.50 - $20.50 per hour based on location and experience.
