Key Responsibilities:
The Certified Medication Technician will assist in the administration of medications under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse. Responsibilities include supporting licensed nursing staff by performing routine nursing tasks and assisting with daily living activities.
- Completion of a State-approved Medication Technician Course or Certified Nurses Aide Course, including any required continuing education.
- Ability to comprehend and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and perform basic arithmetic. Documentation of care provided is also required.
