Job Summary

A career in sales engineering demands a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a determination to succeed. As a sales engineer, you will be responsible for selling our comprehensive line of HVAC equipment and building management controls to commercial, industrial, and institutional customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sell our HVAC equipment and building management controls to customers
  • Work with engineers, architects, contractors, and owners/developers to design, apply, and sell systems, controls, parts, and services
  • Attend the Trane Technologies Graduate Training Program (GTP) - a 5-month classroom training program designed to prepare you for a rewarding career in technical sales
  • Assume responsibilities of an Associate Account Manager focused on Systems, Services, or Controls within a pre-assigned office location

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering Technology, Engineering)
  • U.S. citizenship or legal right to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship
  • Valid driver's license and ability to provide proof of insurance
  • No major or frequent traffic violations
