Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

The Ride Mechanic will be responsible for performing routine inspections, maintenance, lubrication, troubleshooting, and repair of all rides and devices at the park.

  • Main responsibilities include mechanical maintenance of amusement rides and devices.
  • Operate machine shop equipment to ensure efficient repairs.
  • Collaborate with other divisions and departments as needed to achieve overall park objectives.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess the following qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Provide own hand tools to perform tasks efficiently.
  • Prior experience working in a fast-paced environment is essential.
  • Excellent record-keeping and writing skills are required.
  • Able to work at heights using catwalks, aerial lifts, crane baskets, scaffolding, and structure climbing equipment.
  • Demonstrated experience in electronic, electrical, and mechanical work is necessary.
  • Mechanical aptitude and proficiency with hand tools are essential.
  • Ability to follow manufacturer's manuals and blueprints.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required by business needs.
  • Pass a mandatory drug test and background check, as per Company policy.
