Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our medical-surgical unit team at Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center. As a CNA, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our patients and families in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide basic patient care, including showering, bathing, and ambulation support.
- Assist nurses and healthcare team members in a 40-bed unit.
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure patients' functional status progresses.
- Utilize Cerner for charting and Alaris/Pyxis for equipment management.
Requirements:
- CNA License Required
- 1 Year of Hospital Experience (Approval Required for Candidates Not in a Hospital Setting Within the Last Year)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Work Environment: This role is a 13-week contract position with a guaranteed 48 hours per week. The shift is Nights - 12x4 - 07PM. If you are a dedicated and compassionate CNA looking to make a difference in the lives of our patients, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
