Job Summary

Volt is seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team in Kingston, NY. As an Assembly Technician, you will play a critical role in the assembly and installation of Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs). This is a full-time opportunity with 1st shift hours, flexible scheduling, and opportunities for overtime.

Key Responsibilities
  • Use various hand tools in electro-mechanical assembly to assemble and install AGVs.
  • Read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings to layout required equipment and materials.
  • Identify the most efficient method for completing tasks and inspect assembled work prior to final inspection.
  • Discuss errors in diagrams or production orders with supervisors and notify of problems.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and bills of material.
  • Previous experience in assembly using instructions, hand tools, and electro-mechanical assembly.
  • Auto mechanics, equipment maintenance technicians, and equipment installers are encouraged to apply.
