Job Title: Principal, Analysis/Systems Engineering

Raytheon Careers is seeking a highly skilled Principal, Analysis/Systems Engineering to join our team. As a key member of our Systems Design and Architecture organization, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and fielding open, trusted, secure, certified, and operationally effective collaborative autonomous solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate across engineering disciplines to rapidly develop and demonstrate UAS system functionality.
  • Define key system concepts, capabilities, and limitations, CONOPS and architecture, requirements capture and management through the development, prototyping, testing, verification, and flight demonstration phases of UAS related systems.
  • Develop, define, capture, maintain, and communicate system behaviors, structures, timelines, states, and configurations.
  • Identify, conduct, and oversee various system analyses to reduce risk, establish requirements, inform design decisions, perform design trades, and troubleshoot issues.
  • Regularly present status and analyses to various internal and external stakeholders including technical leadership, program management, and customers.
  • Identify, characterize, and communicate technical risks and help plan risk mitigation activities.
  • Organize and maintain the technical documentation package including designs, drawings, specifications, simulations, analyses, CAD databases, source code, executables, test plans, issue reports, etc.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum 8+ years of prior relevant experience.
  • S. government issued Security Clearance is required. S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
  • Experience in Digital Engineering or Model Based Systems Engineering.
  • In-depth knowledge of US Army military operations and doctrine, organization, training, materiel, leadership and education, personnel, and facilities (DOTMLPF).
  • S. government issued Secret or above level Security Clearance.
