Job Title: 1st Shift Equipment Maintenance Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Equipment Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at United Natural Trading LLC. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for the prompt repair and ongoing maintenance of production equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair complex machinery, including form fill seal, packaging equipment, scanners, and shrink wrap machines.
  • Repair and maintain printers, scales, and metal detectors.
  • Provide recommendations for repair or replacement of poorly functioning equipment.
  • Prioritize repair schedules to ensure uninterrupted production.
  • Conduct regular facilities inspections and assist in developing a preventive maintenance schedule.
  • Ensure an adequate inventory of spare parts and materials is maintained.
  • Communicate regularly with personnel to ensure repairs and maintenance needs are met.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED and/or equivalent related experience.
  • Refrigeration Certified.
  • Certified Material Handling Engineer Mechanic.
  • ASE Certification.
  • Two years of on-the-job experience with electronics and mechanical equipment.
