Job Summary

SSM Health is seeking a skilled Patient Care Tech to join our Neuroscience Center team. As a Patient Care Tech, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a dynamic and fulfilling work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in performing a variety of nursing care services for patients, including bathing, ambulating, feeding, and personal hygiene.
  • Collect and document data for the admission assessment and reassessment, and provide appropriate data to the RN and/or LPN for analysis and validation of patient's response to care or treatment.
  • Contribute to safety and quality care by relaying information via charting and communicating to team members.
  • Prepare patients for discharge and accompany them upon dismissal as indicated.
  • Stock and maintain supplies and equipment in keeping with patient care needs and cost containment.
Requirements
  • Passing grade on state of work location required exam.
  • No experience required.
  • Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA) And Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Wisconsin Department of Health Services Or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry.
