About the RoleAs a Psychiatric Nurse RN at Parkland Medical Center, you'll play a vital role in our team's mission to provide compassionate and expert care to patients with mental health needs. You'll work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, providing a safe and supportive environment for patients to heal and grow.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Conduct patient education and counseling sessions to promote healthy behaviors and coping strategies
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
- Document patient progress and outcomes in a timely and accurate manner
- Current RN licensure in New Hampshire or compact license
- American Heart Association BCLS and CPI Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification
- BSN degree or higher preferred
- ANCC Certification in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing preferred
