Psychiatric Nurse RN

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Psychiatric Nurse RN to join our team at Parkland Medical Center. As a Psychiatric Nurse RN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our mental health services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning, in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, incorporating evidence-based practices and patient-centered care.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote best practices in mental health care.
- Stay current with industry developments, research, and best practices in psychiatric nursing, and apply this knowledge to improve patient care and outcomes.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in New Hampshire or Compact License when applicable.
- American Heart Association BCLS and CPI Nonviolent Crisis Intervention with proficiency in verbal de-escalation.
- BSN degree or higher preferred; ANCC Certification in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing a plus.
- General knowledge of psychiatric nursing practice, consistent with ANA Scope and Standards.
- Demonstrated leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
