About the Role

Viant is seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead to oversee the design and implementation of our complex backend services and frontend UI. As a key member of our platform team, you will work closely with engineers to ensure the system evolves to meet the speed, scale, and agility required by modern day systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Determine a long-term technical vision and scope of future projects
  • Lead end-to-end product development efforts for Viant DSP's suite of products
  • Own and contribute to major features and areas of the products
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand pain points and identify opportunities
  • Mentor engineers to thrive in an innovative, user-focused environment

Requirements:

  • 12+ years of professional experience in the software industry
  • Experience with web services, microservices, or other SOA
  • Relational database experience, such as MySQL, Postgres, or Oracle
  • Strong proficiency in the Go programming language
