Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintaining a Safe and Secure Environment:
    • Understand that safety is the number one priority and practice safe behaviors in everything you do.
    • Provide a visible presence at store entrances and exits, monitoring for potential safety issues.
    • Remove clutter and ensure safe, clear egress to emergency exits.
  • Developing Great Teams and Partnerships:
    • Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, making eye contact, and answering questions in a friendly and courteous manner.
    • Treat all customers and associates with respect and dignity.
    • Demonstrate courtesy, friendliness, and professionalism at all times.
    • Recognize and reward associates for their hard work and contributions.
  • Mitigating Theft and Fraud:
    • Monitor store entrances and exits for potential theft and gather intelligence to impact shortage trends.
    • Communicate effectively with store leadership and loss prevention leadership to ensure a safe and secure environment.
    • Adhere to company policy for external theft response.
  • Minimizing Operational Shortage:
    • Identify and address potential shortage indicators and train associates on shortage reduction initiatives.
    • Observe and validate proper checkout procedures for customers and associates.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required, associate's degree preferred.
  • Experience: One year retail supervisor experience or similar training preferred.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to spend up to 100% of working time standing, walking, and moving around the store.
Compensation

$18.00 per hour
