Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Operations and Information Specialist to join our team at GovCIO. The successful candidate will provide support at Rock Island, IL, and will be responsible for performing independent research and analysis, assisting with day-to-day operations, and making recommendations to the Operations Director.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth research and analysis of emerging policy, regulations, and industrial issues.
  • Assist with the Operations Director with synchronization and coordination for the Logistics Civil Augmentation Program (LOGCAP).
  • Review, prepare, and coordinate draft staff actions and requests for information.
  • Make recommendations to the Operations Director for new or updated policy and procedures.
  • Create and maintain databases, SharePoint functionality, and develop new databases as needed.
  • Track performance metrics, attend meetings, and review performance contractor deliverables.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience or commensurate experience.
  • Secret clearance required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in logistics and acquisition activities, and 5 years of experience working in operations at the Brigade level or above.
