About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vault Operations Lead to join our team at the StoneX Group. As a key member of our Precious Metals team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our vault and ensuring the smooth execution of our business activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Leadership: Provide strategic guidance and leadership to our vault operations team, ensuring that all activities are carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the management of our precious metals inventory, including physical counting and reconciliation on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Order Fulfillment: Ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders, including managing CME operations and preparing and verifying audits to ensure proper balancing of the vault.
  • Team Management: Effectively manage a team of 5+ employees, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to ensure the success of our vault operations.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality of our vault operations.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, including management, sales, and back-office teams, to ensure seamless execution of our business activities.
Requirements
  • Leadership Experience: Proven experience in a team lead or manager role, including hiring and managing a team.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience working in the precious metals industry, preferably with knowledge of COMEX rules.
  • Operational Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to remain flexible during times of change and react to project adjustments and alterations promptly, efficiently, and positively.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships at all business levels.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $100,000-$[Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data]. In addition, this role may be eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan, subject to business performance and recommendations of management.
