This position requires a hybrid work arrangement, with in-office presence expected a few days each week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Traders, Quantitative Analysts, and Technology teams to outline project scope and gather business requirements for financial transactions involving physical metals, trading, leasing, and inventory financing.
  • Engage with Technology development and project managers to assess workload, budget, and prioritize project features and trade-offs.
  • Work alongside Risk Management, Operations, and system owners to document and implement the lifecycle of trades, operations, risk, and accounting.
  • Design and execute testing protocols while securing necessary approvals from stakeholders.
  • Hands-on proficiency in SQL and Python-like scripting is essential.
  • Provide production support and assist during off-peak hours as required.
  • Conduct Business Analyst activities to support Openlink Endur projects and enhancements aimed at maintaining and developing capabilities in precious metals trading.
  • Engage directly with stakeholders in precious metals (e.g., gold), including traders and front office personnel, while being situated on the trading floor.
Required Qualifications:
  • Strong foundational skills as an IT Business Analyst.
  • Recent, relevant experience in supporting Metal/Physical trading within an Investment Banking or Capital Markets environment.
  • Experience in Precious or Base Metals trading is essential, with a preference for candidates with precious metals expertise.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the complete physical metals trade flow, including delivery, vault management, and inventory systems.
  • Familiarity with trade booking, processing, cash management, pricing, risk assessment, and related areas.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, particularly in interactions with front office, operations, and IT teams.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently as part of a globally distributed team.
  • Highly analytical, proactive, and detail-oriented.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Openlink Endur is a plus, provided the candidate possesses strong expertise in Metal/Physical/Lease trading.
  • Background in Financial Derivatives Trading or Financial Services is advantageous.
