Job Summary

Michaels is seeking a Part Time Service Team Member to join our team. As a Service Team Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their shopping experience, and ensuring a seamless checkout process.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assist customers with their purchases, find products, and provide solutions.
  • Provide a quick and courteous checkout experience and handle cash transactions according to company standards.
  • Inform customers about the rewards program and assist with enrollments.
  • Notify customers about the Voice of the Customer (VDC) survey.
  • Assist with omni-channel processes, including AEL/REM (buy online, pick up in store) and EXP/M (ship from store) orders.
  • Participate in truck unloading, display replenishment, and planogram (POG) processes.
  • Responsible for merchandise replenishment and maintenance, including returns, restocking shelves, and general store organization to ensure a well-presented and stocked store.
  • Perform stock optimization in-store (OSEM) and sales floor setup tasks as assigned.
  • Support loss prevention and safety programs.
  • Follow company operational procedures (OPs) and programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, implement company policies and standards.
  • Interact with others in a respectful and acceptable manner, remain positive and respectful even in difficult situations, promote commitment to the company's vision and values, project a positive image, and serve as a role model for others.
